This piece has been verified with documentation from the National Museum of Sierra Leone and the Monuments & Relics Commission of Sierra Leone.   

More Info:  Thinking Man/Deep in Thought is a well-crafted totem of four connected human like figures of men in deep thought position.  This item was transported from Conakry, Guinea to Freetown Sierra Leone as a gift to be displayed in the State House the equivalent to the U.S White House and then acquired by a fine art collector and transported to the United States. This piece of art is also unique due to its fine craftsmanship and unusually large size.
