More Info:  This well-crafted hand carved statue of a mother carrying an infant on her back and holding the hand of a toddler is amongst Sierra Leone’s finest.  This almost seven-foot figure proudly represents a woman with children from the Mandingo tribe found in Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Mali, Senegal Gambia and Guinea-Bissau.
